Dis-Aeon by Andrej Cebski is an audiovisual installation with LED strips composed of distinct musical sections, each with its own spatial-temporal identity. Each section creates a perceptual context in which meanings, values, or fleeting experiences can emerge.

The project explores how context and identity can be actively modulated, not only to transform the composition itself, but also to suggest temporal trajectories or deviate the listener’s expectations. The work plays with the perception of time, form, and language.

In this process, the multimodal nature of the audiovisual experience is exploited. It is a fluid territory, in which sound, space, and image constantly exchange roles. They can merge or disguise themselves, thus opening up a cross-modal dimension of listening and viewing.
